“This show was amazing!! Bravo everyone!”

“One of the best, (most) accurate and enjoyable plays of this year.”

Straight from a sold out run at the Halifax Fringe Festival we are thrilled to present this new play about Helen Creighton, author of the very popular book, Bluenose Ghosts.

The Fabulist traces the midpoint in the life of an important trail-blazing folklorist. Helen Creighton has devoted her life to collecting and preserving the songs of her beloved native Maritime Canada. Unfortunately (or is it?), the songs are equaled only by the fascinating tales related to her by many people she meets through her travels. But what is Helen to do with all of the stories? Can she find a way to give these intriguing narratives the focus and audience they are crying out for? If she tries, will she ever be taken seriously?

  • Live music will follow the performance.
  • Tickets are $20 each and are available by calling (902) 614-2666 or online HERE.
