The sixth annual Scarecrow Stroll will take place from October 17-31, 2025! Wander our charming streets lined with creative, quirky, and spooky scarecrows made by local businesses, schools, community groups and residents. Come enjoy autumn with us, with plenty of interactive fun and plenty of photo-worthy moments. Bring the whole family and celebrate the magic of fall in Amherst — where every corner has a scarecrow surprise waiting for you!

This year we’ve expanded the event to encourage local homeowners to take part! Amherst in Gloom (a spin on the local initiative Amherst in Bloom) is for residents who love to decorate their home/yard with Halloween/spooky/fall decor! When you submit your address we will add it to the map for our community to tour your scarecrows and wonderfully gloomy scenery.
